Taking the Pre-Licensing Course Online
The Florida School of Insurance is now offering our outstanding 40 Hour Insurance Pre-Licensing courses online. Taking the course is easy!
- We suggest that you register with the Florida Department of Financial Services when you enroll for the course. To do that, follow the procedures outlined here.
- Begin by reviewing our Study Tips.
- Take a look at the Florida Examination Content Outlines provided by the State of Florida.
- We offer three different courses depending on the license you are
going to obtain: L, H & VA, L & VA and Health. You have the option of
purchasing access to our practice tests at the same time for a reduced
price:

- Afterwards, Log in and complete the course at your convenience during the next 90 days. If you have purchased a package that includes access to the practice tests, they will be available to you during this time.
- We recommend that you start the course before you have purchased the textbook online through www.faifa.org. You can complete the first couple chapters of our course while you are waiting for the textbook to arrive.
- You will have completed the course after taking and passing the final exam located at the end.
